Without a doubt the most dangerous part of looking for work from home typing jobs is being caught up in one of the many scams that prey on people like us. So what are they and how can you tell if they’re legitimate?

1. Website Layout

  • The first thing to look out for if your trying to decide whether or not what your looking at is a scam or not is the pictures and general layout of the website. If they have big pictures of dollar notes, fancy cars, boats and other luxury items you can almost guarantee it’s as scam. True data entry company websites are nothing like this. They will look professional with maybe a few pictures of relevant working issues, if anything the site will look a bit boring and drab, just like the job itself.
  • If it is just a single page with a  “Buy Now” link at the bottom, this is called a sales page. These are information products that can be sold online and are usually very helpful. But data entry and typing job products are all scams. The only thing you will get if you decide to pay for one of these products is some useless information that you can find yourself on Google.

2. Empty Promises

  • Another common thing work from home typing  jobs do is claim to give obscene amounts of money for doing very little work. Now this may be obviously untrue for someone who know their way around the internet, but for those who think it is possible to make hundreds of dollars in a day by doing simple things like copying and pasting content, YOU CAN’T.

3. Time Constraints

  • One sneaky little tactic alot of the work from home typing jobs employ is adding a time constraint or limited time offer. If you see at the bottom of their sales page, buy now because the price is going to go up after the next 20 purchases you can be sure that this is a scam. Real online typing jobs of course do not do this and if you check back the next day.. or even week that same offer will still be on the website unchanged.
